Back to the Locals

I know I have been kind of stuck on a single topic lately but there were lots of good opportunities on our vacation to Sanibel Island and I wanted to share some of that.  I noticed the bird feeder in our back yard was pretty busy so, I spent some time watching the local birds yesterday.

Even the most common species are amazing to watch.  There are a whole bunch of House Finches that love to congregate around a stick-feeder that I try to keep full.  Now that the monsoon season seems to have let up, I can get a few images where the light is good and you can really see the details.  Hopefully, we will have more days with some sunshine and I can get some good shots to share.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
