Another example of how nature is amazing from any angle.  Here is a Rose of Sharon flower from the back side.  I thought the bright sunshine on the grass behind this really made the top petals stand out.  The flower itself was in a shady area so you can see all the texture as well as the water drops.  Once again, we have had our daily rain which keeps the flowers blooming but also has the humidity incredibly high.  Can’t complain too much though, it makes for some great images!

Dancing in the Summer sun

There are so many flowers blooming now that it’s hard to choose what to look at first.  The colors are made even more vibrant in the bright summer sun.  This was a case where there was a mixed blessing for a summer day.  The day was hot so, it was nice to have a breeze but, that makes getting flower pictures difficult.

Had to wait for this one to stop dancing for a few seconds to get sharp focus.  I also opened the apperture up to make the depth of field shallow and get a fast shutter speed to reduce the chance of movement showing up.  All in all, turned out pretty well, I think.
