You often hear references to furniture with claw-foot legs but I don’t know that I have ever seen one so elaborately carved as this before. The furnishings in Bulloch Hall may not all be original to the home but they are period pieces that show what would have been in place in its heyday.
I really enjoy walking through the mansion when the members of Roswell Photographic Society are allowed to take over once a year. There is so much history to see and so many things which are interesting in their detail.
Sometimes, you visit a place like this and there is too much to absorb all at once. I have been back several times and each time, have noticed various details that were missed on previous visits. Even when we have our eyes wide-open, we don’t see everything. The things that attract our attention change with the time and light and our personal mindset. Next time I go, there is no doubt, I will see something new that’s always been there.
