Nature is full of patterns which we often do not see.  You have to look closely.  When you take the time to do this, you will find amazing worlds.  This is a macro image of a hydrangea leaf.  The veins seem to cut bright roads through verdant hills.  The edge of the leaf is a saw blade or the ridge of a dinosaur’s back.

I will never cease to be amazed by the glory of nature’s beauty.  It is always right in front of us but not always noticed.  I guess that is true of all really good things in life.  We need to make an effort to appreciate how lucky we are!

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
