Knock-out red

The day for our photo walk was cloudy and threatening to rain.  I was a bit surprised that I found it hard to find subjects that would fit our category of the color Red.  You would think that bright color would stand out when everything else seems grey but, it was not so for me this day.  I did find some great red colors indoors however so, I took what was there.

Maybe next time we’re out, the autumn colors will have lots of red, yellow and orange in the trees.  Hopefully, it won’t be too long till we start seeing that.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
