C’est la Vie

The Monet Waterlily Festival at Gibbs Gardens is also a celebration of French culture.  They had many fleur-de-lis and French tri-color flags fluttering in the breeze.  Along the main walkway that leads to the waterlily gardens, there were also two iconic French characters, a Mime and an Accordion player.

I have not yet visited France but this certainly brought to mind all the Hollywood representations of the country.  I’m sure they have mimes and accordions on every street corner, right?  When I finally get the chance to go there, I will be severely disappointed if this isn’t true!

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
