Another side of Spring in the Smokies

While we were mainly looking at the abundance and beauty of nature in the Smoky Mountains, there were other things going on.  The first weekend in May is also Spring Festival in Townsend, Tennessee.  There was a Bluegrass Festival going on (pictures from that later) and there were also lots of classic cars tooling around the roads.

The classic Bentley shown here happened to ride by as we were finishing up our shoot of the Little River.  He stopped along the roadside and our group was able to chat for a little while and admire this beautiful automobile.

I guess you just never know what may come your way when visiting this gorgeous part of the Southeastern USA.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
