Before the Workshop

On the first evening before starting our Smoky Mountains Workshop, I went out to see what was near the hotel.  The weather has been rainy and windy but, that gives some dramatic clouds to look at.

This barn is next to the Smoky Mountain Visitors Center and seemed like a nice foreground element for the mountains and the cloudy sky.  It looks like we will continue to have some rain threatening but hopefully, it will be nice enough so that we can get some great images going forward.

I’m excited for the workshop to get started!

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
