Portable Studio work

This weekend, in-between runs over to church to shoot Easter events, I pulled out the portable studio setup I got a while back and tried a few flower shots.  It really is amazing how being able to control the light and the background makes so much difference.  This setup is pretty easy and lets me get in close without needing to worry about what else is around.

I also used my little LED light to change angles and get the best effects for the subject.  I tried reflecting, back-lighting and all kinds of variations.  This was the one that I liked best.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
