Lights up

At the dance show that I photographed last week, each number started with a dark stage and some type of entrance where the lights came up and dancers were revealed.  In this number, the whole group was on stage in the dark when the lights came up in a deep purple hue.  There they all were, in neat lines, silhouetted against a bright backlighting.

It made quite an impressive entrance.  Of course, the dance routine was far more impressive but, I thought this made a nice image.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
