Garden reflections

It is very difficult to tell what the weather conditions are based on a s single scene, isn’t it?  This quiet corner of a reflecting pond in the Japanese Garden at Gibbs Gardens could have been taken at almost any time of year.  It happens that this is early December and the temperature was not too much above freezing.  With the beautiful sunshine and the reflections from the still water it really didn’t matter.  Sometimes it is great to get images that portray the season and sometimes the image seems to be timeless.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
