Ready to fly away

Autumn is a time when plants are both fading away and preparing for the season to come.  While leaves are shriveling and falling to the ground, the seeds that will produce new life in the spring are also falling.  Death and life are all part of the cycle and are so abundantly obvious at this time of year.

I had seen fluffy white objects blowing in the air before I spotted the plants offering up these seeds.  Another gust of wind and they might all be sent on a journey to find a new home.  Nature is marvelous!

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
