Simpson Farm – Old Rustic Cars

Very similar to Old Car City but a lot closer to Atlanta

Joyce and I went out yesterday, to join the North Georgia Photography Club on an outing to the Simpson Farm in Gainesville.  I had not heard about this place before we saw the club invite on it.  It is similar to Old Car City which seems to be THE place to go for photography with old rusty cars.

Simpson’s Farm is quite a bit closer (about 1 hour from Roswell) and the property is actually a lot more well-kept.  There are not as many really vintage cars here but there sure are a large number!

A section of cars at the Simpson Farm – maybe half can be seen here

Thanks to Linda Eberline-Fletcher for organizing this event and to all the fine members of the North Georgia Photo Club for letting us join and for making it a fun morning.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
