The Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is a carrier-based Multirole fighter aircraft.  The US Navy’s Tac Demo Teams — VFA-106 Gladiators put on a great show and demonstrated the wide variety of capabilities of this aircraft.  The slow handling capabilities were really amazing when contrasted with the just-below supersonic (it could have broken the sound barrier but they didn’t want to bust out windows throughout Rome) pass that they also made and the miles high vertical climb that was thrilling.  I certainly would not want to fly in combat against this kind of machine!

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
