Don’t miss the chance to see this wonderful show

The Roswell Photographic Society, of which I am a member, opened it’s annual Juried Show this past Friday at the Visual Arts Center in Roswell Area Park.  I had two entries in the show and received an Honorable Mention for one of them.

The show includes images from members and non-members and the quality is excellent.  Selection and judging of the images was done by Brett Abbott, Keough Family Curator of Photography & Head of Collections at the High Museum, Atlanta.  That should tell you something right there!

Admission to the show is free so, take this opportunity to see some wonderful photography before the show closes on November 18th.

October is Atlanta Celebrates Photography month and the RPS Open Exhibit is part of the celebration!  If you’re in the mood to see some great images, check out the ACP website as there are numerous events going on now.  In addition to the Annual Exhibit, RPS has 3 other shows that are part of ACP month.

I also have entries in these shows:

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
