End of Summer

Labor Day fireworks in Roswell, Georgia

Labor Day is supposed to mark the end of the Summer season.  It’s still awfully hot around here but the kids are back in school so, I guess this is the end of summer.

We went out to view the fireworks show that the City of Roswell puts on for Labor Day weekend last night.  It was a beautiful night and we chose to set up in the parking lot across the way from Centennial High School where the “official” venue was.  There was certainly a enough people in the shopping center that we didn’t feel lonely and when we were leaving, I was very glad that we didn’t have to fight the crowds to get back to our car!

A nice way to close out the summer.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
