A Doctor in the House

Kathleen, giving a presentation of gifts to the faculty and next years class.

Yesterday was a big day in the house as our daughter, Kathleen graduated from Physical Therapy school!!  To say that we are very proud would be such an understatement but I don’t know what else to say.  She has worked so hard for the last three years and now it has all paid off.  She also has passed the board exam so, next it’s out into the world to conquer her next challenge.  (Keep her in your prayers – she has an interview today!)

Kathleen Grundy DPT-138.jpgThe graduation ceremony was at the Rialto Center for the Arts in downtown Atlanta.  The traffic on the connector almost kept us from getting there on time but, we made it before they closed the doors.  It’s a good thing that we got there in time because this is an event that we just couldn’t miss out on.  Especially since Kathleen, as the class vice-president was on stage making presentations to the faculty and to the next class.

We thank all of our family and friends who came to celebrate with Kathleen at the Rialto and at our home afterwards.  It is amazing that we now have a doctor in the family.

Photography is my way to capture and share the amazing beauty of God’s handiwork in the people and places that I experience every day. I focus mainly on nature and travel subjects but also do alot of event work for my church and the occasional wedding or portrait session. My residence is Roswell, Georgia – a northern suburb of Atlanta. I try to get around the Southeast as often as possible and would love to explore other parts of the USA and the rest of the world.
